Description
Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet is a augmentin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections in the body caused by amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic. It is used to treat infections that are listed in the National Institutes of Health guide as having “signs of an allergic reaction.” These include rash, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, and shortness of breath in and of itself not requiring hospitalization. Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Dosage
This product is usually available in 2-5 milligram doses (200 mg/125 mg), and a maximum of 10 milligram doses (500 mg/125 mg) may be used in adults and children over 12 years of age. Precautions

Do not use Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet with other medicines containing penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics unless they have been studied for your condition. This antibiotic may cause diarrhea. Tell your doctor if you have diarrhea that is watery or bloody. Tell your doctor immediately if any of the following occur: stomach or intestinal ulcers or other serious problems, chest pain, fast or irregular heartbeat, or a rash that is not controlled by low-dose therapy. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, tell your doctor before using this product. This product may harm an unborn baby, and if used during the last 3 months of pregnancy, report this to your doctor. Do not use Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless considered necessary by your doctor.
Possible Side Effects
The most common side effects from this product are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain or a metallic taste in the mouth. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. If your doctor has told you to stop this product, you may need to be treated with immediate medical attention. He had been receiving antibiotics for about 12 years, which had been for 10 days. It was at this time that he had developed an unusual vaginal yeast infection. He was concerned that he might not be well enough or otherwise affected by the unusual vaginal yeast infection. He was then prescribed an Augmentin 625 Duo Tablet to help prevent the recurrence of the infection. This treatment was effective and well tolerated.
